Bobby discovered his love for reading and once he did, it took off.
A book a day was getting piled onto the floor and one morning Bobby said, “Mom, we should give these books to other kids so they can get a chance to read them.”
After donating many books to friends, we decided we would open a pop up book store called “Bobby’s Books” in his hometown of Winchester, MA.
Since the word has spread, dozens of families in the community have eagerly jumped on board and donated books for Bobby to sell!
Every dollar Bobby makes from the sale of his books will be donated to charity. In December 2024 he gifted The Home for Little Wanderers, an impactful community organization that helps build stable lives and futures for children at risk, a check for $8,000 from the sales of his books.
LA Fire Relief
Bobby reached back out to his community in the winter of 2025 with an ask to pass along gently used books to donate to those families who lost EVERYTHING, including precious children’s books, in the horrendous LA Fire.
Bobby boxed up hundreds of children’s books and shipped them directly to an LA based elementary school who passed them out to kids whose lost their homes (and books) in the LA fires.
